Meet Our Orchids
DOMINIQUE
is our self-proclaimed wild child; wild about art, wild about her books and wild about her Orchid sisters. A junior in high school, Dominique is our busy bee most likely to be holding a bug, petting a lizard, or chasing a rabbit. She loves gardening, animation, baking, and step dancing!
BLOSSOM MARKAYLA
Blossom Markayla is working as an Analyst in Corporate Treasury Operations at Goldman Sachs. Mic drop! She graduated Magna Cum Laude from City College of New York where she received a BA in English Literature with a minor in International Studies. Markayla made the Dean’s List for seven consecutive semesters, speaks 3 languages, and is also well versed in music, literature, and art. Oh she beat stage 4B cancer's butt twice! Markayla interned at Goldman Sachs (Summer 2025), the office of Senator Charles Schumer (Fall 2024),Bloom Energy Innovation (Summer 2024), Givsly (Spring 2024), Lowenstein SandlerLLP (Summer 2021)., Coller Capital (summer of 2022 & 2023), Central Policing Equity (Summer 2020), 1199 ServiceEmployees International Union Funds (Summer 2019), Celebrity Stylist Ty-Ron Mayes (Winter 2018, Spring 2019). There is more, but you get the she's-a-beast-point!
BLOSSOM ALEXA
Blossom Alexa is working as an Analyst at Coller Capital, the largest solely dedicated private markets secondaries manager in the world. After 8 years as an Orchid, Alexa graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelor's in International Business and French, with a minor in Real Estate. She received a trajectory changing scholarship from The Orchid Foundation. Tri-lingual, Alexa speaks French, Spanish, and English; and has always been the one to watch. You'll see.
BLOSSOM COUMBA
After 8 years as an Orchid, Coumba graduated Emory’s Goizueta Business School with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She received a full scholarship from The Orchid Foundation. Coumba is currently pursuing a second degree in Construction Management while working at MDS Construction Management.
BLOOM URIAH
Uriah studied Health & Wellness at Buffalo State College and is now a full-time fitness coach who runs his own private practice as a 1-on-1 coach while also leading group classes at Equinox. Uriah is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS, working with both adults and teens. Beyond coaching, he is passionate about travel, having explored over eight countries, and he thrives on athletic challenges like Hyrox and Spartan Race. He also has a love for history and art, especially iconic sculptures and monuments that tell the stories of past civilizations.
OUR GRADUATES
Our graduates have attended Emory, Holy Cross, NYU, and George Washington to name a few. Gone, but never forgotten. Our incredible girl gang is going to change the world someday soon.
